Long time with no posts

It's been a long while since I posted,  and the reality is that I barely sewed a thing last year.  So my plan is to re-make some sewing habits this year, starting with some basic stuff.  I'm aiming for a garment a month,  excluding January cos we've had heatwave after heatwave.

I've been reminded that linen is a great fibre to wear when it's stinking hot and humid, and it's a gap in my fabric stash.  I found a great print linen in a Queensland shop online and grabbed 4m for a shift dress or a shirt dress.

Admittedly I'm better suited by muted colours,  but I'll feel cool wearing it.
