Becoming Jane

There's a benefit to living in inner Sydney, you can pretty much wear anything and be ignored. Studiously ignored, but not mocked or heckled.

The cinema staff could guess which film we were viewing, and were interested in why we'd dress in costume.  On leaving patrons also asked about it, and one gentleman conveyed that we looked beautiful, which he'd noticed both before and after the film.
